a two-year master's in moving image at the sandberg instituut, and the sequel to shadow channel. it brought together film, music, video games and direct action as connected practices. the curriculum was built around three commitments: radical imagination (critical tools to eradicate structural oppression), solidarity (sustained reciprocity across difference), and collective joy (the freedom rehearsed together). core tutors included ash sarkar, rob schröder, daniel van der velden, beri shalmashi, rana hamadeh and juha van 't zelfde. guests included lotic, lexie smith, nicolas jaar, kate cooper and michele rizzo. mark leckey called it "a pioneering example of what an inclusive art education could be." rana hamadeh said its closure would be "an unimaginable loss for dutch education."
