an essay film, currently in pre-production, that investigates the systematic destruction of commons-based land knowledge from 754 ce to present, tracing how dutch colonisation of its own heathlands became the template for global colonial practice. the work positions contemporary environmental crisis as the colonial boomerang returning home. 

the film uses archival materials, institutional genealogies, and landscape cinematography to document 1,400 years of continuous resistance against cosmocide. shot solo on iphone 17 pro with anamorphic lens.
