commune is a pedagogy of club culture. it brings people together to study how club nights work by paying attention to the room – sound, behaviour, atmosphere, access, and informal rules.

participants focus on “listening to listening”: how people respond to music and to each other, and how this affects joy, safety, belonging, and collective responsibility. the project uses this as a practical way to support solidarity, mutual aid, and free association, and to treat celebration as a rehearsal for liberation.
